So, the question came: How can we make hinges that are functional and aesthetically pleasant?

After five years of development and countless prototypes, Tacito was finally born: a sideboard with sound-absorbing doors covered in fabric, where the fabric itself serves as a hinge.

With the elegance that distinguishes Stabile’s approach, Tacito turns its functional mechanism into a characterising element of its design.

Its minimalist look, represented by its monochrome outside appearance, reveals an exquisite play of colour contrasts once the doors are opened.
